HCCA’s mission, vision, and core values.
Healthy Communities of the Capital Area (HCCA) is a public health nonprofit organization.
HCCA partners with community members to improve the health and quality of life locally, throughout Kennebec County, the Central Public Health District, and across the state. Funding for HCCA efforts come largely from state, federal, and philanthropic grants to improve health primarily in the areas of reducing tobacco use and exposure, healthy eating, being active, and preventing alcohol, cannabis, and other drug misuse.
